Do you know what a rainforest looks like when it gets dark? Experience the tropical greenhouse Fata Morgana in a different way. Listen to the sounds of the jungle that never sleeps. We invite you on an adventurous journey through the world of tropical plants, fish, and frogs. Our guides have prepared an interesting journey through mountains and lowlands that will take your breath away. Some plant species bloom at night and have intoxicating scents, while the entire greenhouse is filled with the concert of tropical frogs... BASIC INFORMATION Tours take place in the tropical greenhouse Fata Morgana - entrance from Trojská Street 750/194 (MAP). Unconventional evening tours start on November 15, 2024, and will last until December 14, 2024. Each tour lasts approximately one hour and is primarily intended for adults and older children. TOUR TIMES November 2024: every Friday and Saturday at 17:10, 17:35, 18:00, 18:25, 18:50, and 19:15 December 2024: every Friday and Saturday at 17:10, 17:35, 18:00, 18:25, 18:50, and 19:15 The interior of the greenhouse is divided into three parts with different temperatures and humidity levels, where you gradually become acquainted with the flora of the tropical and partially subtropical climate zones.

Prague Zoo will offer free special pre-Christmas tours for kindergarten and elementary school students from December 2 to 20. These guided tours will focus on creatures known primarily from fairy tale books or television screens and will debunk various ingrained myths associated with them. What does a real devil look like? Where do mythical dragons live? And what is the truth about dancing lemurs? All this and much more will be revealed to the children during the tours, which can be booked now. Schools can take advantage of a favorable pricing scheme for school groups – kindergarten students will pay 50 CZK, while elementary school students will pay 100 CZK for entry to the zoo.
