At 10:20, Yosakoi Hanamaru will perform in the Lucerna Palace passage. At 16:00, Hanamaru Yosakoi will perform together with Ryūkyūkoku Matsuri Daiko. From 10:30, you can look forward to creative workshops: you will fold origami under expert guidance, write your own calligraphy, tie a decorative knot from paper cords - mizuhiki, or make a stamp for the Year of the Snake (reservation required). At 13:00, Nihontō Kenkyukai will prepare a guided tour of the exhibition of Japanese swords and guards for you. Japanese delicacies and drinks will be provided by: Dobrá Čajovna - Japanese teas and ceramics, Japonská Domácí Cukrárna - fresh wagashi, dango, mochi, and daifuku, Japanese restaurant Miyabi - onigiri, sushi, obento, Matcha Tea - drinks made from powdered matcha tea, Nikka whisky - Japanese whisky and cocktails, Nippan Bakery - Japanese sweet and savory pastries, SUSI.CZ - Japanese snacks, cooking ingredients. Thawing of reptiles at Prague Zoo
Zoo Prague has begun to awaken its hibernating residents from their dormancy (similar to mammalian hibernation). Despite the outdoor temperatures, the zoo is fully preparing for spring, and the keepers are gradually filling the exhibits of reptiles and amphibians. After several months of hiatus, all the inhabitants of the Terrarium pavilion and the recently opened Gobi exhibit are now on display – including the legendary "olgoj chorchoj," a Tatar sand boa. In the desert terrarium Kattakum in the Pavilion of Carnivores and Reptiles, passionate courtship has begun among the lizards, and the Indian gharials have started eating fish again after their winter break.

New circus is an artistic phenomenon that has gained immense popularity in recent decades. How much do technologies dominate their users? This is the question explored by the exhibition Poetics of Encryption, which you can visit at the Rudolfinum Gallery starting February 13. The project, curated by the renowned curator Nadim Samman, will also feature the involvement of Samsung Electronics as the gallery's technological partner.

The sixth edition of the Comic-Con Prague festival announces more legends of the television screen. Previously confirmed participation by Lorenzo Lamas, who portrayed the Renegade, will be joined by Warwick Davis, the popular Englishman who appeared in all the Harry Potter films. Fans can also look forward to representatives from Stargate and Terminator. The festival will take place from April 11 to 13, 2025, at the O2 Universe in Prague.

The best beers of 2024 were selected in six categories of the competition. The announcement of the results of the tasting competition CZECH BEER 2024 took place at the St. Wenceslas Festival of Czech Beer, a traditional gala evening for brewers and maltsters, which was held at the Prague Crossroads on September 24. The St. Wenceslas Festival marked the beginning of the Days of Czech Beer with the tapping of the winning lager RADEGAST Ryze Hořká 12. A total of 26 breweries entered this year's tasting competition with 101 competition samples.
