Bring things in great and clean condition so that they can still bring joy to others.
When? On Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Where? The ceremonial hall of the Prague 18 municipal district, Bechyňská 639. The acceptance of items will take place from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the main entrance of the municipal building near the reception desk, but also continuously throughout the day until 4:00 PM. We will take the unnecessary items you bring, sort them by category, display them by type, and offer them for free to visitors. Please bring items in great and clean condition, so they can still bring joy to others. You can choose new pieces for free and treat yourself as well. What items will we give a second chance to this year: children's, women's, and men's clothing, sports equipment, and books. Please bring only as much as can fit into two bags. Do not bring full cars, large items, or entire libraries. Unfortunately, we do not have enough space for display. After the event, any remaining items will be donated to non-profit organizations. There will be a creative workshop for children and light refreshments. It will be possible to support the Humanitarian Fund of Prague 18 on-site. The event is dedicated to the general public and is free of charge.

Projects from Zlín succeeded in a prestigious tourism competition.

The Baťa Region project and the Tomáš Baťa Memorial today received awards in the national competition Great Prize for Tourism. This was awarded during the 33rd edition of the international tourism fair Holiday World & Region World in Prague. In a strong competition of projects, the Zlín and Luhačovice Destination Company won 3rd place for the Baťa Region project in the category of Best Tourist Product. The winner of the Best E-Project category was the Tomáš Baťa Memorial in Zlín with its website.

A highly relevant perspective on the world through the eyes of the Dalai Lama will be offered in cinemas by the film "The Wisdom of Happiness," which presents a trailer.

Jamie Campbell Bower aka Vecna from Stranger Things, Danny John-Jules as the Cat from Red Dwarf, Franco Nero, and other stars are heading to Comic-Con Prague 2025!

The sixth edition of Comic-Con Prague brings another wave of star guests. Fans can look forward to Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Vecna in Stranger Things, Danny John-Jules, known as the Cat from Red Dwarf, and Branscombe Richmond, famous as Bobby Sixkiller from the series Renegade. Confirmed guests also include Ed Speleers (Eragon, Star Trek: Picard), Jessica Henwick (Game of Thrones, Matrix Resurrections), and Archie Renoux (Mal Oretsev from the series Light and Shadows), as well as the legendary Franco Nero, whose filmography includes cult spaghetti westerns and Hollywood blockbusters. Comic-Con Prague will take place from April 11 to 13, 2025, at the O2 Universe in Prague.

Musical Spring at Holešovice Market: The concert series will celebrate 130 years of the former slaughterhouse complex.

The music program celebrating 130 years of the Holešovice Market will bring a series of concerts from April to May, connecting the contemporary Czech music scene with the unique atmosphere of the industrial space of the market. Visitors can look forward to a diverse lineup – from electronic experiments by WWW NEUROBEAT to the delicate indie-folk of Republic of Two, and the powerful energy of hardcore legends Slut and Meat-House Chicago I.R.A. There will also be new discoveries from the music scene, such as Ida The Young and Anna Vaverková.
