But how did fried cheese make its way to our tables and why has it become an indispensable part of Czech gastronomy?

BURGER KING® will serve breakfast menus in its restaurants every day from morning until 11 a.m. Therefore, in collaboration with the creative agency Zaraguza, it brought the Morning Disco trend to the Czech Republic as part of the Pancake Party, accompanied by a competition in eating mini pancakes with raspberry sauce, one of the highlights of the morning offering.

The music program celebrating 130 years of the Holešovice Market will bring a series of concerts from April to May, connecting the contemporary Czech music scene with the unique atmosphere of the industrial space of the market. Visitors can look forward to a diverse lineup – from electronic experiments by WWW NEUROBEAT to the delicate indie-folk of Republic of Two, and the powerful energy of hardcore legends Slut and Meat-House Chicago I.R.A. The multi-genre space Nová Spirála at the Exhibition Grounds will welcome world-class tenor Pavel Černoch this April, who has recently been nominated for an Anděl Award in the classical category for his album Smetana Arias. His performances in the Czech Republic are rather unique, but Pavel Černoch feels at home on the most prestigious stages of the world’s theaters and opera houses. Therefore, anyone looking forward to another opportunity to enjoy the beauty and power of the voice of this Brno native, who has performed on stages such as La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Covent Garden in London, and Opéra Bastille in Paris, should hurry to purchase a ticket for one of the two exceptional performances at Nová Spirála at the Exhibition Grounds. This will take place on April 15 and 16 in the large hall of Nová Spirála, and visitors can look forward not only to Pavel Černoch himself but also to the accompaniment of the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, as well as his guests Radka Fišarová, Michaela Štiková Gemrotová, and Hana Holišová. Together, they will present the best of opera arias, as well as songs from world-renowned and beloved musicals, perhaps from the pen of Andrew Lloyd Webber or Leonard Bernstein.
