The light entertainment park Winter Wonderland is returning to Prague's Letňany. It will bring completely new light installations full of fairy tale stories and animals, and will also add even larger fun and adrenaline attractions. All outdoor attractions and light installations are included in the basic ticket price.
Children and adults can look forward to a new bumper car track, a giant wild octopus, flying elephants, a roller coaster, a large chain carousel, a crazy bench, and the Extreme pendulum. For the youngest, there is a cheerful train, a car track, a traditional carousel with horses, and a Maya the Bee carousel. Every visitor will enjoy unlimited rides on outdoor attractions already included in the basic ticket price.
The light installations from the realm of fantasy and fairy tales will feature beautiful princesses, cheerful lemurs, Ice Age mammoths, brave Moana, and heroes from the legendary Avatar or Shrek's swamp. On the way to the underwater world, visitors can be swallowed by a giant whale and reminisce about the stories of 101 Dalmatians and The Lion King. There is also a romantic alley lined with glowing hearts and a promenade full of fairy tale characters. Curious children will discover an educational trail full of cheerful tasks.

The Amsterdam hotel chain Sir Hotels proudly announces the opening of Sir Prague, the first branch of this brand in the Czech Republic, which will take place on March 17. The hotel is located in the vibrant Prague district of New Town, near the famous Dancing House and the Vltava River. Spread over five floors of a historic building on Náplavní Street, it will offer its future guests accommodation in 76 rooms.

The iQLANDIA Science Center welcomed 495,000 visitors in 2024, representing a year-on-year increase of 2%. The center under Ještěd, where fun intertwines with informal education, also celebrated the 10th anniversary of iQLANDIA's opening and the 20th anniversary of iQPARK. The year was marked by the expansion of exhibits and new educational programs, with an emphasis on current topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and activities for visitors of all generations.
The 58-year-old German actor of Turkish descent, Erdogan Atalay, known to domestic audiences as the tireless and seemingly immortal Commissioner Semir Gerkhan from the popular series Cobra 11, is heading to Prague. He will present a new Czech comedy Without Underwear, in which he starred, and on Monday, February 3rd, at 4:00 PM, he will meet fans at the Cinema City Chodov during a "Meet and greet" event.
The first Prague farmers' market held outdoors this year, which welcomed customers in mid-January, was Heřmaňák. It is open regularly every Saturday at Řezáčovo Square in Prague 7. On Saturday, February 1, two more will join it – the Náplavka farmers' market in Prague 2 and the Kubáň farmers' market in Prague 10.
