DRESDEN CHRISTMAS MARKETS

The Dresden Striezelmarkt is considered the oldest Christmas market in Germany and this year it takes place for the 590th time at Altmarkt square from November 27 to December 24, 2024. The market is known for its traditional elements, such as Pflaumentoffel, which are handmade chimney sweep figurines made from dried plums, a tradition that dates back to the 17th century. An interesting feature is also the historic giant wheel, which offers a romantic view of the market from above. Visitors can expect a rich cultural program full of Christmas performances, and of course, the original Dresden Christmas stollen, which is a popular delicacy, cannot be missed. ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN CÁCHY

Discover winter Cáchy and let yourself be enchanted by the Christmas market in Cáchy in a beautiful atmosphere. Fragrant mulled wine is as much a part of Christmas in Germany as sweets or gifts. This year, the first climate-neutral stall with mulled wine will be presented. In addition to this traditional treat, visitors can enjoy other regional specialties. Handcrafted products will also be available. November 22 – December 23

This elegant market at Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most famous in Berlin. The surrounding baroque buildings and the wonderful atmosphere create the magic of Christmas. A 50-meter-high panoramic Ferris wheel will become the highlight of Christmas in Berlin. From the enclosed panoramic gondolas, you have a beautiful view of the Christmas hustle and bustle of the big city. Amusement park lovers will find joy at the foot of the TV tower: historic children's carousels up to 100 years old and a nostalgic chain carousel for everyone make the Berliner Weihnachtszeit an unforgettable experience. CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN ERFURT

The city of Erfurt is celebrating the Advent season for the 174th time. The wide range of festive attractions at the market attracts approximately two million visitors of all ages each year. At Domplatz, Fischmarkt, and Willy-Brandt-Platz squares, and along the streets Anger and Schlösserbrücke, over 200 wooden stalls offer Christmas goods of all kinds. Anyone who takes a trip to Erfurt will not regret it.
