This year's edition of Beats for Love, which will take place from July 2 to July 5, 2025, rewrites the history of the festival and opens a completely new dimension of this iconic celebration of electronic music. In the unique industrial environment of Lower Vítkovice, several new fantastic worlds with breathtaking atmospheres will be created under the banner of Beats for Love Universe. “We were inspired by the biggest global events and are elevating the experiences to the next level. We want the four days at the festival to be literally packed with energy and unforgettable moments that attendees will draw from all year round,” says the director and founder of the festival, Kamil Rudolf. The festival will open three new thematic zones in its area – Love Sphere, Space Sphere, and Industrial Sphere, complemented by the main festival artery, Pulse, which will connect the entire Universe. “This is a fundamental evolution of Beats for Love and a huge challenge. We believe that fans will be as excited about this transformation of the area as we are,” adds Rudolf.
Beats for Love presents the world premiere of legends from the dance scene - Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, John Summit, and Jax Jones!
As every year, Beats for Love will bring to Ostrava the most significant names from the global electronic dance scene. “So far, our lineup is dominated by giants such as EDM legend Armin van Buuren, drum and bass magician Wilkinson, master of epic sound Apashe, Australian showman Timmy Trumpet, popular British singer John Newman, and the world premiere of a joint performance by top drum and bass DJ A.M.C. and his partner, singer Koven. You won’t experience this exclusive show anywhere else in 2025,” states the festival's program director, Jiří Ramík.
The organizers also revealed the names of headliners who will perform at Beats for Love for the very first time at the press conference. The first of them is English hitmaker Jax Jones, who made a breakthrough in his career with the release of the hit “I Got You,” which successfully topped charts worldwide. Another is the hottest name in the current EDM scene, American DJ John Summit. “We are pleased that John Summit will make his festival debut in the Czech Republic at Beats for Love,” added Ramík. The last of the news is currently the best DJ duo in the world - brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. “We believe that their show will be a dream come true for many of our fans, as they have repeatedly requested them. We are glad that they will showcase their art in grand style at the Love stage by ČSOB,” specified Ramík.
Revolutionary 360° stage, unique projects, and exclusive collaborations
This year, the festival will again offer the established and reliable cashless system, which allows for safe and convenient cashless payments. “People come to the festival for music and great experiences, not for queues, searching for ATMs, or digging for change in their pockets. That’s why we have prepared fast and secure cashless payments anywhere at the festival in collaboration with VISA. We know that especially young people today naturally prefer to pay contactlessly, with more than two-thirds of them opting for mobile or watch payments. We want to enable them to focus solely on the music and atmosphere,” says Martin Jarolím, the executive director and member of the board of ČSOB responsible for retail.
Another new feature in the area will be the new, massive, and technologically advanced Techno Dome by Proud. This year it will be located in a large-capacity tent with a modern 360° stage concept. “Proud, in collaboration with Beats for Love, is turning the tide of the techno scene and bringing a unique stage where the DJ will play right in the middle of the crowd. This will be the very first stage of its kind, creating an unforgettable atmosphere full of raw energy and close contact with the music. Attendees can expect top-notch visuals, an exhilarating vibe, and a lineup led by stars like DJ Rush, Richie Hawtin, and other legends,” clarifies Jakub Marek, marketing manager representing Proud.
This year's 11th edition will feature a unique concept of the radio station Evropa 2 studio. This project will ensure live broadcasts directly from the venue as part of a collaboration with ČSOB. “This is the first time in history that Evropa 2 will broadcast live directly from the center of the festival day. Fans can look forward to live segments, contests, interviews with DJ stars, and other content spiced with the festival atmosphere,” describes the concept Rudolf.
Beats for Love is not just about music and entertainment; the festival proves this every year with the charity project Beats for Charity, and this year will be no exception. Attendees can financially support selected fighters against adversity both within the festival area and outside it via a QR code. After each public collection, the festival director generously rounds up the amount with his own contribution, sometimes doubling it, to ensure that the help is truly effective. “This year, our long-term partner Skupina ČEZ is also backing the entire charity. The collection will be supported through its EPP application Help with Movement, and Skupina ČEZ will then also increase the selected amount with a financial contribution,” adds Gabriela Rudolfová, a member of the Beats for Love production team.
This year, the popular conference Talking Beats will enrich the festival again. Its third edition will offer attendees a diverse array of panel discussions with interesting guests from the music and cultural sectors. Well-known DJs and producers, organizers of the most significant Czech and Slovak music events, as well as personalities representing important festival partners, representatives of local government, and notable figures from the region will also appear.
Exciting shows and unforgettable experiences in the world of Beats for Love
The highlight of the eleventh edition of Beats for Love is the accompanying program. It will fully correspond with the new concept of Beats for Love Universe. “We have bet on quality, and that’s why you will find only the best artists and performers at the festival. They will beautifully complement the atmosphere and the genius loci of the respective spheres,” describes the program concept the festival's production manager, Magdaléna Pastrňáková. Attendees will literally be within arm's reach of a range of shows by both foreign and Czech artists, a mysterious parade with an allegorical float, and light or fire performances in the air and on solid ground.
A new official partner of the festival will be Kofola, which has long been associated with the theme of love. The accompanying program will be complemented by its Love Square, where both festival and real weddings will take place. “We found that young people are increasingly meeting online and spending a lot of time in apps without results. Therefore, at Beats for Love, we will also introduce a special application that will allow people to meet directly at the festival and immediately find out over a glass of Kofola whether the spark will truly fly,” states Daniel Buryš, the general director of Kofola ČeskoSlovensko. The area will also feature Kofola's Cupids, who will inspire attendees to express their love.
