The magical Christmas markets will once again be present at Republic Square this year. Forget the hustle and bustle and stop by the stalls with beautiful Christmas goods. Experience the impressive pre-Christmas atmosphere and the charm that never fades away. The stalls in the area towards V Celnici street will predominantly offer Christmas goods: mistletoe, Advent wreaths, candles, candle holders, toys, Christmas decorations and arrangements, sweets, Advent calendars, nativity scenes, artisanal crafts, typical Christmas snacks, and much more.

ADVENT MARKETS AT SYCHROV

At the honorable courtyard of Sychrov Castle, stalls with Christmas goods such as decorations, candle holders, glass, ceramics, etc., will be placed, while the dining area will be in the castle park, where tents are prepared for enjoying delicacies. Everyone will find something to enjoy – sausages, potato pancakes, grilled meat, sweet pastries, mulled wine, coffee, mead, hot juices, and other treats that must not be missed at the markets.

ADVENT CELEBRATIONS IN NELAHOZEVES

The colorful weekend program will offer all-day musical performances as well as demonstrations of folk crafts. The castle courtyard will be filled with stalls featuring traditional handcrafted products, and the scent of Christmas mulled wine, mead, sweet trdelník, and other goodies will fill the entire castle area. The heated castle cellars will transform into a space full of creative workshops where you can make an Advent wreath or tree decorations together with your children. December 7 – December 8

CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN PLZEŇ

Every year, Advent markets are held at Republic Square. The square will be surrounded by a Christmas atmosphere, the scent of mulled wine, traditional trdelník, and gingerbread. You will surely be delighted by the traditional markets, a large Christmas tree, a nativity scene with life-sized wooden figures, live animals in a pen, a historic carousel, a lit Ferris wheel, excellent refreshments, and fragrant Christmas drinks. As at every market, you must not miss demonstrations of folk traditions and crafts focused on Christmas and the holiday theme. November 22 – December 23

CHRISTMAS FAIR AT BRUNTÁL CASTLE

A traditional pre-Christmas event associated with the purchase of Christmas decorations, gifts, good food, and drink. The Christmas fair at Bruntál Castle will take place on Saturday, December 14, where interested parties can participate in creative workshops and enjoy various musical and theatrical performances. Throughout the Advent markets, a cultural program will be held on the stage. December 14

ADVENT IN KADAŇ

On Saturday, November 30, the Christmas tree will be lit again at Mírové náměstí in Kadaň. Before the first candle on the Advent wreath is lit in the evening, you can watch the prepared program starting at 10:00 AM. The program will take place in several locations – at the market, on the stage, as well as in the arcade near the Gallery of Josef Liesler and in the church. At the conclusion, the miner's light of St. Barbara will be handed over, and the first candle on the Advent wreath will be lit. After that, there will be a fireworks display and the lighting of the Christmas tree. November 30

MIKULÁŠSKO-CHRISTMAS FAIR IN HLINSKO

A traditional winter fair that will take place in the area of the Bethlehem monument reserve and in front of the Orlovna in Hlinsko. More than 80 vendors will offer their goods, both Christmas and others. You can purchase Christmas decorations, arrangements, mistletoe, Advent wreaths, candles, wicker, wooden and leather goods, honey products, sewn items, smoked products, gingerbread,
wooden toys, jewelry, hats and scarves, dried fruits, spices, cosmetics, and much more. For children, a Mikuláš gift package is prepared from 2 PM. At 6 PM, the Christmas tree will be ceremoniously lit in Bethlehem. Abundant refreshments will also be provided.

ADVENT MARKET IN KLÁŠTER BROUMOV

The traditional Christmas markets in the area of the Broumov Benedictine monastery cannot be missing from the list of must-visit Christmas outings. CHEB CHRISTMAS MARKETS

Experience the magic of Czech Christmas in Cheb, which hosts the Náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad every year. The Cheb Christmas markets are an ideal place to soak in the Christmas atmosphere and perhaps buy some gifts. Every year, it takes place at Náměstí Krále Jiřího z Poděbrad in the very center of the city. The Cheb Christmas markets traditionally feature selling stalls with a rich assortment. Mulled wine, gingerbread, warm mead, cheeses, sausages, or ready-made treats such as halušky, potato pancakes, soups, filled baguettes and croissants, hot trdelník and waffles, sweet cream rolls and coconut macaroons, salty pretzels and sticks. CHRISTMAS MARKETS AT LOKET CASTLE

Advent at Zelňák means folk crafts, traditions, and the charm of old Christmases, when life was a bit slower and there was more time for personal meetings. From Monday to Sunday, there will be a live music program on the stage, always from 5 PM to 10 PM. The ceremonial opening will be hosted by Leoš Mareš, who will perform on November 15 at 7 PM. The historic square will resonate with songs by singer Monika Bagárová or Lenny, among others. Musician Lipo, the band Jasná Páka with David Koller, and many others will also sing for the audience.
