Synopsis: Three years after winning the Squid Game, player 456 is still determined to find those behind it and put an end to their cruel sport once and for all. With a bundle of cash in his pocket, Gi-hun begins his search in an unsurprising place: he is looking for a man in a sharp suit who is playing ddakji in the subway. His efforts begin to bear fruit over time, but the path to destroying the entire organization proves to be much more dangerous than he thought. To end the game, he will have to enter it again.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who made history at the 74th Primetime Emmy® Awards as the first Asian to win for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, once again handles directing, writing, and production.
