Stretching from Old Town Square to the Vltava riverbank, it serves as a connecting line between the historic Old Town and the modern part. It is renowned not only for its prestigious atmosphere and luxury shops, but also for its architecture and historical significance.

New edition

The street named in honor of the French metropolis was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries as part of a extensive urban transformation of the Old Town. The goal was to create a modern boulevard that would match the elegance and style of the European metropolises of the time, such as Paris or Vienna.
