Part of the project is actor Vladimír Polívka, with whom we bring a short interview.

1. What does it mean for you to be part of the Love2Dance project? What emotions overwhelmed you when you received this offer?

I really wanted to work and be part of something that is different. The Love2Dance project is something that started to interest me as an actor precisely because it is a great tribute to social dance. The performances in this show are unprecedented. It is not a musical; it is truly a dance performance – and I also dance in it. I genuinely admire all the dancers. Let's be fascinated for a moment by how much we can enjoy a story beyond logic and ourselves... Perhaps it is actually much simpler.

2. How do you perceive the connection of dance and theatre in one performance?

Theatre and dance have been connected since forever. We need brave people who remember that. Precision, strength, body, movement – there is no difference between theatre and dance. The difference is only in the people.

3. What is your relationship with dance? Do you have experience with it, or are you stepping into unknown waters?

Dance is beautiful because it is not alone. There are many of them – and it is precisely in this diversity that there is joy. I love dance because it is always different. Just like this text.

4. What makes this show special, in your opinion?

Self-confidence. This show must take care of itself.
