Spring at the Theatre in Řeznická will bring the Czech premiere of the tragicomedy with a short but apt title Ex, by the acclaimed German playwright Maria von Mayenburg. Under the direction of Jakub Šmíd, the central roles will be played by actors Zuzana Zlatohlávková, Lenka Zbranková, and Jiří Š Hájek. The play is based on the biting and precise dialogue of the married couple Daniel and Sibille. The essentially problem-free life of a successful upper-middle-class couple with two children is strongly stagnating and deepening its crisis.
