Pavel Černoch's gala concert represents a fusion of classical opera with the modern environment of the New Spiral and is intended for everyone who loves not only classical music but also enjoys discovering connections between various musical formats. This unique evening will offer a wide range of musical styles from traditional opera arias to well-known musical songs, all complemented by video projections and light effects*, which highlight the unique character of the performance.
The gala concert will feature not only Pavel Černoch and the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava but also his guests – Radka Fišarová, Michaela Štíková Gemrotová, and Hana Holišová, who will complement the world-renowned tenor with their voices in selected pieces. In the performance by Pavel Černoch and his guests, both operatic arias and iconic musical melodies will be heard. Within the attractive repertoire, listeners will be transported, for example, to Bizet's passionate Carmen or the famous Broadway musical West Side Story.
"At the concert, I will exceptionally step outside the world of opera for a moment and I am very much looking forward to diving into my favorite musicals by Andrew Lloyd Webber or Leonard Bernstein, as well as famous songs by Italian composers Ernesto di Curtis or Eduardo di Capua. I would like to thank everyone who has embarked on this adventure across genres with me," invites to the concert Pavel Černoch.
"Two gala concerts by the internationally acclaimed tenor Pavel Černoch bring a unique concept where the repertoire combines classical opera arias with well-known musical melodies. The evenings will be exceptional not only due to the large live orchestra and the extraordinary setting of the New Spiral but also thanks to fascinating video projections, a rotating stage, and great singers who will elevate this unique experience. I believe we will share unforgettable moments together," adds Jan Makalouš, director of the New Spiral.
