British producer and singer Harvey Causon, one of the most interesting voices of the contemporary British electronic scene, is coming to Prague for the first time on April 25 to present his debut album Square Breath. The evening will open with the local audiovisual project Bariel AV, which recently released the album Life is One of the Hardest. Both artists share a sense of atmosphere, a desire for musical experimentation, and a deeply personal approach to creation.
Sentimental memories of the turn of the millennium and slow electronics: Kruder & Dorfmeister will perform at Mladí ladí jazz.
The Austrian electronic duo Kruder & Dorfmeister, creators of the iconic compilation from the late 90s The K&D Sessions, which sold millions of copies worldwide, is heading to Prague. While techno was developing in the Vienna scene at the same time, Kruder & Dorfmeister drew from calmer rhythms, 80s dance music, hip hop, breakbeat, and nu jazz. In a special performance with a band, attendees of Mladí ladí jazz will hear it on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the release of this compilation. The National Theatre Ballet presents - SARKASMS
Contemporary dance is a sign of progress, pushing the boundaries of the dance genre and introducing experimentation. It brings a distinct and current perspective on the body in the context of modern times, often raising existential questions. This will also be the case for the premiere of Sarcasma, in which the unique creative visions of three significant contemporary choreographers will intertwine in an unparalleled way. Interpersonal relationships, mutual teasing, challenges, and provocations, but also refined movement elegance, characterize Hans Van Manen and his choreography Sarcasmen from 1981. He will be featured in the middle part of the upcoming triptych. The evening will begin with ...And How Is Your Life? by Andrei Kaidanovsky, who created the work specifically for the National Theatre Ballet company, as well as Eyal Dadon, whose Catastrophe will conclude the triptych.

One of the most significant events of last year at the Exhibition Grounds was undoubtedly the opening of the New Spiral after twenty-two years, which has already hosted dozens of performances, both as part of its own productions and third-party events. The space of the stage, which was supposed to be demolished a few years ago, was opened by the musical show Resurrection, from which visitors can also look forward to repeats this year. In addition, the own production presented, in collaboration with Live Creation, the romance The Bridges of Madison County based on the literary work by Robert James Waller, which is also very popular, and this year the Spiral will offer more repeats. In the fall, however, this multi-genre space will present another of its premieres, the variety show The Saturn Revue in co-production with Deep Side Production. The retro-futuristic revue promises a unique show against the backdrop of a strong love story between two different beings. There will also be dozens of other events, including a concert by Vojta Dyk, a concert for Squid Game, and yet-to-be-announced concerts by foreign artists. This year, a small hall of the New Spiral will also open, which will be a space for music parties, children's theater performances, and modern dance shows.
World tenor Pavel Černoch, accompanied by the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and guests, will resonate in the New Spiral - At the Exhibition Grounds in April.
The multi-genre space Nová Spirála at the Exhibition Grounds will welcome world-class tenor Pavel Černoch this April, who has recently been nominated for an Anděl Award in the classical category for his album Smetana Arias. His performances in the Czech Republic are rather unique, but Pavel Černoch feels at home on the most prestigious stages of the world’s theaters and opera houses. Therefore, anyone looking forward to another opportunity to enjoy the beauty and power of the voice of this Brno native, who has performed on stages such as La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Covent Garden in London, and Opéra Bastille in Paris, should hurry to purchase a ticket for one of the two exceptional performances at Nová Spirála at the Exhibition Grounds. This will take place on April 15 and 16 in the large hall of Nová Spirála, and visitors can look forward not only to Pavel Černoch himself but also to the accompaniment of the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, as well as his guests Radka Fišarová, Michaela Štiková Gemrotová, and Hana Holišová. Together, they will present the best of opera arias, as well as songs from world-renowned and beloved musicals, perhaps from the pen of Andrew Lloyd Webber or Leonard Bernstein.

A unique freestyle mountain bike race will enrich this year's program of the largest cycling fair in the Czech Republic. The festival will offer, as every year, a comprehensive program for all age groups, from adrenaline activities to group rides, bike testing, cycling equipment shopping, and lectures, as well as relaxation and good food in the open-air spaces of the Exhibition Grounds.
The biggest star of Chronicles will be the metal legend Jorn Lande from Pentakill.

The former professional player and passionate fan of the video game League of Legends has decided to bring a unique event to Prague that connects the worlds of gaming and music. Chronicles is a visual symphonic show that will offer the audience a fascinating journey into the world of League of Legends, narrated not only through words but also through live orchestral music with a rock band and captivating video projections telling the grand story of the last 15 years of League of Legends. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by Norwegian singer Jorn Lande, the frontman of the virtual band Pentakill, which is part of the legendary universe of League of Legends.
