Art Nouveau Manifesto Decorative Documents Alphonse Mucha presented in full for the first time in Prague

For the first time since the revolution, visitors can see the complete set of 72 lithographic sheets Documents Décoratifs, created by Alfons Mucha in 1902 in Paris. This exceptional cycle is one of the most important works of European Art Nouveau and represents Mucha's vision of bringing art from galleries into everyday life. The complete cycle of Documents Décoratifs is presented as an extraordinary novelty by the Mucha Museum on Panská Street in Prague.

Music in the Vineyards 2026: Record Number of Concerts and Two New Locations

The popular series of open-air concerts "Music in the Vineyards" has just completed a highly successful season, but the organizers are already announcing news for 2026. The seventh edition of the event will offer a record 69 concerts, the most in its history. Along with this, there will be an expanded range of performing artists and two brand new locations, of course linked to wine. The stage will feature annual favorites such as David Koller, Queenie, Čechomor, the duo Krhut & Kozub, Wohnout, Tros Discotequos, No Name, and many others. Additionally, Marie Rottrová, Olympic, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Kollárovci, and Tata Bojs will make their premieres in the vineyards.

The 5th edition of the open-air festival Prague 420 will take place for the first time in a new date and for the first time in a two-day format, on the weekend of June 6-7 at Prague Louka near the Velká Chuchle racetrack. Visitors can look forward to the first edition of the festival after legalization, which brings the richest program in the history of the Prague 420 festival. Over 100 exhibiting brands, international headliners such as the founder of the famous Cookies brand - Berner (USA) or General Levy (UK), a powerful Czechoslovak support lineup led by PTK, Loudz1, Pain, Danzhun, Michajlov, Lboy, or H16, a dub stage, and a ton of other concerts and DJ sets.

Summer Festival Boskovice – 4 days of music, theater, film, and visual arts

Boskovice will once again become the venue for a multi-genre festival focused on alternative culture at the beginning of the holidays, connecting the historical environment of the town with contemporary art. The 34th edition of the festival for the Jewish Quarter will take place from July 9 to 12, 2026, offering four days of music, theater, film, performances, visual arts, lectures, interviews, and discussions, including a program for children.

At the Mezi ploty festival, Lucie will perform for the first time – along with dozens of other music stars.

At the festival, which will take over the park of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital on May 30 and 31, this year the stalwart of our music scene, Lucie, will perform, a band that has significantly influenced the development of Czech rock music for four decades. In addition to this extraordinary band, a nice number of other music and theater stars have decided to support this meaningful event – and not just artistically. Among them are Divokej Bill, No Name, Xindl X, Marpo, Kateřina Marie Tichá, Martina Pártlová, Adam Mišík, Poletíme?, Michal Hrůza, Tomáš Klus, Spitfire Company, Vosto5, and Lukáš Pavlásek. More than 100 performers will take the stage across 10 festival stages.

The Smiling Summer Festival is back in full swing!

The Laughing Summer will traditionally take place under the walls of Kadaň on June 20, 2026. Visitors can look forward not only to the contemporary pop-hip-hop scene but also to bands that will appeal to older generations, for whom the festival has always been a favorite.

The automotive festival Legends is slowly knocking on the door, and that means only one thing. In Prague, countless stunning cars will be on display that you won't encounter in everyday traffic. At the Holešovice exhibition grounds, you will see, for example, the Pagani Utopia Roadster, Huayra, Ferrari SF90XX Stradale, models SP3, SP1, as well as new offerings from brands like Aston Martin, Mercedes-AMG, and Lotus. This year's edition will not only be about cars. The accompanying program is tailored to meet the needs of all family members. The theater in Řeznická will offer the first title from the free trilogy of plays by Maria von Mayenburg in its Czech premiere.

Spring at the Theatre in Řeznická will bring the Czech premiere of the tragicomedy with a short but apt title Ex, by the acclaimed German playwright Maria von Mayenburg. Under the direction of Jakub Šmíd, the central roles will be played by actors Zuzana Zlatohlávková, Lenka Zbranková, and Jiří Š Hájek. The play is based on the biting and precise dialogue of the married couple Daniel and Sibille. The essentially problem-free life of a successful upper-middle-class couple with two children is strongly stagnating and deepening its crisis. When Daniel's ex shows up at the door one evening, there is no turning back. Or is there?

The first big open-air event of the season in Prague is heading to Štvanice - 19 DJs on 4 stages.

While most parties in Prague start after midnight, this one will kick off at one in the afternoon. Sound Open Air returns on May 23rd and will present an all-day takeover on Štvanice, featuring a strong international lineup on two outdoor stages and a format that remains more of an exception than a rule in Prague. In May, the island between the arms of the Vltava River will transform into an open dance area with a view of the city and four stages spread across Štvanice. As the sun sets, the event will move indoors to Fuchs2, where it will continue until 6:00 AM.
